Dried Organic White Mushrooms

This widely-available mushroom varies in color from white to light brown and in size from small to jumbo stuffer. White dried organic mushrooms are available sliced, which allows for easy reconstituting and implementation into recipes. These are a great addition to soups, sauces, pastas, and pizzas.

Dried Organic Portabella Mushrooms

With their hearty textures, Organic Portabellas and Baby Bellas are a delicious substitute for meat. The Portabella is larger in size and darker in color. These two dried varieties both come sliced and are great additions to soups, stir-fries, pizzas, sauces, pasta dishes and more!

Dried Organic Baby Bella Mushrooms

Agaricus Chips are essentially a diced variety of mixed Organic White and Brown (Baby Bella) Agaricus mushrooms. These are a wonderful addition to soups and sauces, due to their small size and combination of flavors. Toss in with your soups and sauces and reconstitute right along with your other ingredients.

Dried Organic Shiitake Mushrooms

Shiitake mushrooms are the most readily available exotic mushroom, allowing easy access to an exquisite taste and texture. Dried Organic Shiitakes are available in sliced and whole cap varieties. Once reconstituted and added to stir-fries, pastas, eggs, sauces, or soups, their woodsy flavor and meaty texture will entice the senses.

  • Blanch in boiling water, stock or wine for 2-5 minutes, or soak for 30 minutes in warm liquid.
  • Strain reconstituted mushrooms through a coffee filter, reserving flavorful liquid.
  • Gently rinse under cold water and pat dry.
  • Reserved liquid may be added to recipe as needed to achieve desired consistency and intensity of mushroom flavor.
